The Last Gift tissue donation research study aims to understand the behavior of HIV in the human body \u2013 giving scientists the rare opportunity to learn where the virus hides in an individual and inspire medical advancements for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lastgiftmovie.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Last Gift Movie<\/a> follows The Last Gift Study at UC San Diego \u2014 an end-of-life HIV research program where participants choose to donate tissues as their final gift to science.
